Effective October 22, 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Purpose and covered services
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to Rodeo Internet LLC’s residential and small-business fiber, fixed wireless, and Stampede 5G broadband, except where a separately signed enterprise agreement expressly provides a different rule. It protects customers, other network users, network integrity, and lawful internet use. Your accepted order and plan disclosures determine the features, charges, and usage conditions of your service.
Take reasonable precautions to secure your account and equipment and prevent unauthorized use. Responsibility for activity through an account is subject to applicable law. Ordinary home, work, guest, and authorized RV connectivity is permitted. VPN use, teleworking, streaming, gaming, and connecting multiple household devices are not inherently violations.
2. Unlawful and harmful conduct
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, phishing, unauthorized access or password attacks, malware distribution, denial-of-service attacks, unlawful unsolicited bulk messaging, or infringement of another person’s rights. Do not knowingly interfere with others’ lawful communications, defeat network security controls, or endanger another person.
3. Network, account, and equipment integrity
Do not impersonate another subscriber, use stolen or cloned credentials, manipulate metering or provisioning, or alter SIM credentials or equipment identifiers without authorization. Equipment must not cause harmful interference. Do not tamper with provider-owned fiber, ONTs, fixed wireless radios, mounts, or shared facilities.
Reselling access as a retail communications service or operating a public commercial carrier connection requires Rodeo’s written permission. Reasonable incidental access by household members, employees, visitors, or fellow travelers is not resale by itself, but remains subject to the selected plan’s eligibility and guest-access restrictions. In particular, VZ Unlimited 5G WT requires prior supplier approval for public/guest Wi-Fi and web-hosting systems. Permission on another Verizon product does not waive that rule. Any plan-specific hosting, device, or commercial-use restriction must be disclosed before purchase.
4. Data and usage practices
This AUP creates no undisclosed usage cap, premium-data threshold, roaming limit, throttling schedule, or excess-usage charge. The accepted Service Order, plan schedule, and Broadband Consumer Label identify any allowance, priority treatment, fixed speed reduction, video management, hotspot/tethering condition, or other material restriction. See the Network Management Disclosure.
High traffic volume alone is not a violation. Rodeo may reasonably investigate traffic patterns indicating a security threat, fraud, network disruption, or breach of a disclosed plan condition and use proportionate protective measures.
The carrier plan’s disclosed usage consequences still apply even when activity is lawful: AT&T AX has congestion treatment including after 250 GB per cycle; TMO SM may remove or reassign a plan above 1.2 TB per SIM per cycle; Verizon WT slows additional usage to up to 3 Mbps after 1.2 TB and may require migration or suspend service after three consecutive over-threshold cycles. Continuous video streaming on Verizon WT requires prior supplier approval. See the Network Management Disclosure for the full conditions. These restrictions do not create limits on other Rodeo services.
5. Stampede devices and radio rules
Use gateways, SIMs/eSIMs, antennas, and installation methods authorized for the selected plan and consistent with applicable radio rules. Do not transfer a SIM or modify a device in a way expressly prohibited by the accepted plan, defeat provisioning controls, operate uncertified transmitting accessories, or intentionally operate outside a disclosed permitted territory. Ordinary computers, tablets, televisions, and local Wi-Fi devices may connect through an approved gateway. Travel and roaming are governed by the Coverage and Portability Terms and the accepted plan schedule.
6. Copyright and third-party rights
Respect copyright and other intellectual-property rights. Rodeo handles infringement complaints and valid legal notices under applicable law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act where applicable. Rodeo may restrict or terminate accounts for repeated infringement in appropriate circumstances, subject to applicable notice, response, and counter-notice rights. Contact support for the current process for submitting or disputing a complaint. A disputed allegation is not automatically conclusive proof of infringement.
Rodeo does not control all content available on the internet or guarantee its safety or legality.
7. Investigation, restriction, and remedies
When reasonably necessary to address fraud, unlawful conduct, a serious network threat, or a material violation, Rodeo may warn the account holder, request verification, restrict affected traffic, suspend service, or terminate the account. Measures should be proportionate. Where practical and legally required, we provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue; immediate action may be needed to stop ongoing harm.
Contact Rodeo to dispute a restriction or report a false positive. This AUP creates no undisclosed penalty, restoration fee, or equipment charge. Any charge must arise from the accepted order, disclosed terms, and enforceable law. Applicable refund, notice, and consumer rights remain available.
8. Reporting and changes
Report abuse, suspected account compromise, or an improper restriction at 509-769-3030, support@rodeointernet.com, or through Contact. Include enough information to investigate without sending passwords or full payment details.
Updates apply prospectively, subject to the notice, consent, and cancellation rights in your agreement and applicable law. Posting an update does not override those requirements. See the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
