The TrackMix PoE camera is a practical choice for a shop, entrance or yard where Ethernet suits the site. A compatible PoE switch or injector supplies power and data on Cat5e or Cat6. The switch connects to your router, so the camera becomes part of your local network.
Two lenses support wide and close-up tracking views, with up to 4K in the main view. The 6× hybrid zoom uses both lens views and digital processing. Person, vehicle and animal detection, two-way audio and night vision make the camera useful beyond a simple live picture.

How does the included 128GB card work with TrackMix PoE?
Rodeo installs and configures the supplied card for local recording. These cameras support microSD cards up to 512GB, but this package includes 128GB. How much history it holds depends on activity, video quality and the recording mode. No fixed retention period is promised.
Does TrackMix PoE need a cellular data plan?
No. This Ethernet model connects to the existing property network. Core local recording does not require an LTE plan or a camera cloud subscription. Your broadband service is separate. Remote viewing needs a working internet connection; an optional recorder or cloud service may have its own cost.

Can the network use fiber to reach another building?
Yes, a properly designed fiber link can connect the buildings or network locations. This camera itself has an RJ45 Ethernet port. The remote end needs suitable locally powered equipment to provide the camera's Ethernet and PoE connection.
